Fun cast. Just to comment on some things:
– Tommy, you didn’t explain why Death Note was bad. Just that it opened for a sequel and you don’t like that. Since no one cared for spoilers, you could’ve elaborated a bit more. I think the ending itself would’ve been okay if it weren’t for the fact that Light is a completely different character from the original, but they made him like Light Yagami for the ending, using a very complex plan, even though he’s just a stupid horny teenager the rest of the film. The ending could go either way with L choosing to or not to kill Light (leaning towards kill), but it didn’t seem like it’d set up for a sequel since Light isn’t safe anymore.
– I talked about Baby Driver on a previous cast, and Tommy talked about on an episode before that one. So when’s Logan?
– The DBFZ cover is just as bad as Budokai 3’s. Could always get the game digitally if you hate the cover art?
– It’s Lena, not Lana, lol
– Iris saying “We are the Flash” was probably the biggest BS the show has done so far. I thought the malfunctioning breakup cube would fix itself at the end of the episode (because of the curses) and it’s revealed Jessie wasn’t actually breaking up with him, but then the malfunctioning was pointless. Using the Particle Accelerator to stop her? That was random. It’d be great if, for the finale, Barry gets jobbed by Wally who comes back to save him.
– Good to see more iZombie love. I’ve been following the show as it aired so I’m caught up. It gets better and better every season, with the stakes getting higher as well. Also, more Blaine. More Major. More conspiracies. Rose McIver is incredible as an actor being able to play different personalities each episode. Ravi is the funnest character in the show.
